If you are a member of the Department of Maryland, you have the opportunity of paying your
dues online using your credit card. After completing your dues renewal. Take your receipt to your local Post and
ask that they provide you with your membership card. Should you have difficulty in getting your new membership card
from your post, please contact the Department Headquarters at (410) 752-1405.

portion are military on active duty. Too many don't know about the American Legion."
We are always looking for people interested in joining!!
Who Can
Join?
If
you are on active duty today, anywhere in the world, or have served during any eligible war eras, you are a veteran and you're
eligible to become a Legionnaire!
Membership in
the American Legion Auxiliary is limited to women who have direct personal connection with
service in World Wars I and II, and the Korean or Vietnam War, or conflicts in Grenada, Lebanon,
Panama or the Persian Gulf War. This service
is through a member of one's own immediate family who served in the Armed Forces during those wars or conflicts, or through
one's own service with the Armed Forces.
To be eligible
to join the Sons of The American Legion, you must be a male descendant of a member
of The American Legion. You are also eligible if you are the male descendant of a veteran who died in,
or subsequent to, service during World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Lebanon,
Grenada, Panama,
or the Persian Gulf War.
